Josh Yee

Boys Team Head Coach

Josh grew up in the state of Hawaii where he began gymnastics at the age of one. He started competing in the USAG Junior Olympic Program at the age of 6 for Hawaiian Island Twisters. During his Junior Olympic career Josh competed at 12 Region 1 Championships, 6 JO National Championships, and 1 USA National Championships. While in high-school, Josh also assisted with coaching pre-team through level 10 at Hawaiian Island Twisters.
After high-school Josh was recruited by the University of Oklahoma with a full scholarship. He competed at 4 Conference Championships and 4 NCAA National Championships, where he earned All American honors on vault and contributed to 3 consecutive National Championship winning teams competing on pommel horse, vault, and high bar. While at OU, in August 2015, Josh also qualified and competed at USA National Championships and was a team captain for the OU Men's Gymnastics Team during the last two of their NCAA National Championship winning seasons.

Josh was coaching at Bart Conner Gymnastics Academy in Oklahoma before deciding to move to Florida and join the Orlando Gymnastics coaching staff. Josh is looking forward to sharing his knowledge, experience and love of gymnastics while he gives back to the sport that has provided him with so many great opportunities and life lessons.
