Bobby DiRugeris

Coach Bobby started gymnastics when he was 5 years old and competed for a total of 15 years in the USAG program as well as at college level. Coach Bobby was a seven-time qualifier for the Junior Olympic National Championships and apart from that, won several state floor, vault, and ring titles.Bobby went to The Ohio State University on an athletic scholarship where he studied Education. He first started coaching at Will-Moor School of Gymnastics in New Jersey where he was mentored by Kim Bonus and John Wilton. At Will-Moor, Bobby coached levels 6 through 10, Optional boys team as well as HOPES athletes. Bobby moved to Florida in January 2014 to coach at LaFleur's Gymnastics Club of Largo where he coached levels 3 through 10. He is now excited to be a part of the Orlando Gymnastics family and hopes to motivate and inspire athletes not only to grow as gymnasts, but also as individuals. Coming from a very athletic family with both his parents being coaches, Bobby also enjoys playing soccer, bouncing on trampolines and to wind down, long walks on the beach.
